We’re seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Neurologist to lead, develop, and grow the expanding practice as Section Head at Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fellowship-trained specialists in clinical neurophysiology and/or those who have special interests in neuromuscular disorders and headache are welcomed.

In addition, we are seeking Board Eligible and Board Certified Pediatric Neurologists and Epileptologists to join this growing group.

The Section of Pediatric Neurology at Ochsner Hospital for Children includes neurologists with subspecialty expertise in stroke, neurointensive care, movement disorders, epilepsy, pain management, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders and neuroimaging. In addition to patient care, the Department of Pediatrics is responsible for teaching pediatric residents from the Tulane-Ochsner Pediatric Residency program and teaches medical students from Tulane as well as the University of Queensland.

About Ochsner Hospital for Children

Ochsner Hospital for Children offers a full range of pediatric care from primary to quaternary care, with services offered in all subspecialties including solid organ transplantation and pediatric cardiovascular surgery. In addition, physicians collaborate with nationally recognized adult partners to provide young adult transitional care in a variety of specialties.

Ochsner Hospital for Children includes a pediatric primary care network, a dedicated pediatric emergency department, in-house pediatric intensivists, and a full-time pediatric hospitalist medicine service, as well as a dedicated, full-time, pediatric transport team providing ground, rotary, and fixed wing transports across the entire Gulf South. In addition, there is a 45-bed pediatric unit, along with a 14-bed level I PICU, 12-bed CVICU and 54-bed level IV regional referral NICU. The team serves a broad geographic area encompassing the entire Gulf South region by leveraging a system of satellite clinics and, extensive tele-medicine capabilities, as well as a dedicated, full-time, pediatric transport team providing ground, rotary and fixed wing transports across the entire region.
